Penelope - Formerly Buchanan

Even with the tough start this pretty girl had in life, she has never let her past change her outlook on the future. She is currently living her best life, both giving and receiving as many snuggles as possible! Her mom, Julie, reached out to share her story with us. Here is what she said!

"We adopted Buchanan/Penelope on November 12, 2022. She had been burned in P.R. and rehabilitated.

She is a very loyal and lively member of our family. She sleeps in the bed with us - curled up next to my legs under the covers in the winter and at the foot of the bed in the summer. She loves her three walks a day with her parents and sisters. She always greets us exuberantly whenever we come downstairs or in the door. She loves yogurt, cucumbers, and peanut butter as well as all kinds of doggie snacks. Her fur never grew back from where she was burned, but she has no lingering sensitivity or other problems.

As I write this, she is cuddled up on my lap. She is a champion snuggler!!!!! We love her to pieces!!"
